Adventure Week

Last week our class had a Adventure week. On Monday we had choices of what activity we wanted to do, I chose Flip Out.It was really fun because my friends were there and we got to do flips.On Tuesday I chose Town Trip.We took a bus into town and then went to the museum.We sat down and got told the activities we could do. The person who told us said that we were doing activities about, seeing how much pumps your heart does in a minute, How tall we are, How much our legs, arms, torso, muscle and fat weighs and how much our grip is. Then we went and got something to eat and went to Margret Mahy playground. After we had a play on the playground we walked to the bus place and took the bus back to school. On Wednesday I chose to bike to bottle lake forest. We went to the bike shed and got checked if our tires were pumped up enough. Then we biked to spencer park, stopped at the toilet and drinking fountain and took off to bottle lake forest. We went over bumps, hills, down hills and sharp corners. When we stopped at a open area we had something to eat and relaxed for 10 mins. After that we made our way back to school. On Thursday the Whole class went to Jelly Park. We all bussed there and got in two lines, the hydroslide line and the swim only line. The hydroslide line got their bands and then we all went inside, got changed and went to the pools. The first thing that I did was the diving boards. The big diving board was the funnest because the little one was only little, then me and my friends went on the hydroslide. After that I went in the main pool and played on the floaties. Then my friends came and we had alot of fun. Eventually I got something to eat, then went straight back to the pool. About 1-2 hours later we packed up, got changed, got in the bus and went back to school.

Tessellation

today for math we went on an app called Tessellation Creator.
This is what I made.

Science

Last week our class has been doing science.
The Teachers gave us a choice of working by yourself, buddy or in a trio.
I chose to work with my best friend Yago.
For science Yago and I chose to make Hokey pokey.
First we got a pot.
Then we got golden syrup.
And put in quarter a cup of golden syrup.
Then we got the sugar, and put half a cup in.
Then put it on the stove to boil.
We had to stir it until the sugar dissolves into the golden syrup then leave it to boil for 4 minutes.
Then put in a teaspoon of baking soda in and stirred QUICKLY then put it on a flat surface, put it in the fridge and left it to cool for 15 mins.

Duolingo

This month our teachers have shown us an app called Duolingo.  is a free app that you can learn languages. I have been learning Spanish, I recommend you guys to use it. Every day you play it you will be given a goal to complete that day. When you complete it you can quit the game and go on another site. Also there is a leader board that has a promotion zone and a demotion zone. You need to get the the promotion zone so you can get to silver league. Then it goes to chests. you know the thing.

How I feel about being in the senior class..

I am learning lots now in the senior class. My maths have improved a lot as well.

The teachers make me feel really happy when I walk into the class.

I know it is term 2 but it's taken me a while to start my blog. I have started to learn the guitar.
